About me

By day

I'm a Software Developer, programming utilities for businesses in the Progress ABL. I've begun my journey in the world of programming back with school, where I learned all sorts of languages, such as:

Whenever I feel like learning something, and when I feel I've a need for it, I generally try my best to learn that: I will most likely focus the upcoming time on honing my web development skills, and hopefully I'll be able to utilize the skillset to develop more important material!

By night

When I'm not at work, I like playing and making video game modifications!

All the way back in 2015, I had joined the Sonic ROM hacking community, and it's been a wild ride since, through which I've met all sorts of people, made all sorts of friends, and learned all sorts of things!

In the beginning, I... can't say my creations were impressive, but with time, I ended up developing a pretty solid grasp of Motorola 68000 assembly, my work being featured on high profile and award winning projects!

Nowadays, not only do I make ROM hacks, but I'm also one of the lead organizers for the Sonic Hacking Contest, the biggest Sonic ROM Hacking and Modding event of all time! It's something I've been following ever since, and, although I've daydreamt of partaking in the actual Contest and winning awards, not even in my wildest dreams did I anticipate reaching this point, and I could not be more grateful.

I also dabble in Content Creation on YouTube on the odd occasion!

About this website

I created this website for a few reasons:

  1. To create a place where to host my most important project for myself, with as little middlemen as possible;
  2. To gradually develop my web development skills;
  3. to shadowdrop glp2 lmao

As you can see, this website is quite barebones, with only basic HTML and CSS functionality. However, with time, I want to expand the website to make it easier for myself to host more stuff, and maybe even offer some additional services. A blog of my own would be nice to have!

About the logo

Prior to this year, my logo used to be made with the Russo One font, which was supposed to also end up in my then in development hack, Giovanni's Level Pack 2.

The logo for that hack looked like this:

Giovanni's Level Pack 2 (Russo One version)

But then Cinossu jumpscared me with this:

Giovanni's Level Pack 2 (Russo One version)

Naturally, I loved it. So I decided to upgrade my logo to emulate Cinossu's style. You can see it, ever looming at the top of each page. Huge thanks to Cinossu for letting me reuse the art style!
